You will prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic and diagnostic studies by using a variety of radioisotope equipment. You will prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists, and subject patients to radiation. You may also execute blood volume, redcell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques.
You will perform medical tests in a laboratory environment for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases in animals. You will prepare vaccines and serums for prevention of diseases. You will prepare tissue samples, take blood samples, and execute laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood counts. You may also clean and sterilize instruments and materials and maintain equipment and machines.
You will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. You will assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including supervision of respiratory therapy technicians. You will conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for purposess such as research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance or environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretial, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences.
You will design and build data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Intranets. These networks range from small connections between two offices to next-generation networking capabilities such as a cloud infrastructure that serves multiple customers.
You will perform a variety of engineering work in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. You may conduct basic and applied researh to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacturing. You may recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.
You will monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. You may enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices. You will also monitor and respond to operating and error messages.
You will lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, missile control instrumentation, electron tubes, test equipment, and machine tool numerical controls, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.
You will repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment, such as industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas.
You will apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production. You may study and record the time, motion, method, and speed involved in the performance of production, maintenance, clerical, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency.
You will teach courses in environmental and conservation science.
You will supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.
You will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to prodcution schedule. Your duties will include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
You will compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes. Your duties will include computing costs and calculating rates for goods, services, and shipment of goods; posting data, and keeping other relavant records. This job may involve keyboarding, the use of calculators, and using adding and bookkeeping machines.
You will perform laboratory and field tests to monitor the environment and investigate sources of pollution, including those that affect health. Under the direction of an environmental scientist or specialist, you may collect samples of gases, soil, water, and other materials for testing and take corrective actions as assigned.
You will advise and educate individuals or organizations on acquiring and managing debt. You may provide guidance in determining the best type of loan and explaining loan requirements or restrictions. You may also help develop debt management plans, advise on credit issues, or provide budget, mortgage, and bankruptcy counseling.
You will weigh, measure, and check materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records.
You will study the origines, behavior, diseases, genetics, and life processes of animals and wildlife. You may specialize in wildlife research and management, including the collection and analysis of biological data to determine the environmental effects of present and potential use of land and water areas.
You will assemble, fit, fasten, and install parts of airplanes, space vehicles, or missiles, such as tails, wings, fuselage, bulkheads, stabilizers, landing gear, rigging and control equipment, or heating and ventilating systems.
You will set up, operate, or tend drilling machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink metal or plastic pieces.
You will set up, operate, or tend metal or plastic molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products.
You will set up, operate, or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot.
You will operate or tend machines to bleach, shrink, wash, dye, or finish textiles or synthetic or glass fibers.
You will install, diagnose, or repair communications, sound, security, or navigation equipment in motor vehicles.
You will install, service, adjust, or repair coin, vending, or amusement machines including video games, juke boxes, pinball machines, or slot machines.
You will set up, rearrange, or remore switching and dialing equipment used in central offices. You will service or repair telephones and other communication equipment on customers' property. You may install equipment in new locations or install wiring and telephone jacks in buildings under construction.
